Contractors Guide to Code of Ethics

The Office of State Ethics is required under Connecticut General Statutes §1-81b to provide a plain language summary of state ethics laws concerning (1) persons, firms and corporations submitting bids or proposals for state contracts, and (2) state contractors.

Each contractor, subcontractor, or consultant must attest to have read and adhere to the State’s Contractors Ethics Policy as a signed appendix with bid submissions and within all executed Agreement(s). And annually upload the affirmation to the State’s contracting portal before each anniversary of the Agreement’s effective date during such Agreement term.  Failure to submit the affirmation in a timely manner shall be cause for termination of contract.
