Comptroller Sean Scanlon Statement On Continued State Discussions With The Connecticut Hospital Association

(HARTFORD, CT) – Comptroller Sean Scanlon today released the following statement on the state’s continued discussions with the Connecticut Hospital Association:
“In light of new and pending federal policy changes, my office and the Governor’s office have been engaging in very productive discussions with the Connecticut Hospital Association on how we can work together to help our hospitals and the patients they serve. This budget takes meaningful, mutually agreed upon steps required to continue these productive discussions following passage of the bill, and I’m confident we will get to a solution that is a win-win for the state and our hospitals.”
