Comptroller Sean Scanlon On Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling’s Decision Not To Seek Reelection

(HARTFORD, CT) – Comptroller Sean Scanlon released the following statement after Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling today announced he will not be seeking reelection:
“Mayor Harry Rilling’s leadership and dedication have truly transformed Norwalk over the past decade. From robust economic and population growth to safer streets, the mayor leaves a legacy of progress that will continue to shape his city and state for decades to come. I congratulate him on his incredibly successful tenure and wish him the best after fifty years of service to Norwalk as a police officer, police chief, and mayor.”
