Public Act 26-12, An Act Concerning Workforce Development and Working Conditions in the State, establishes two new programs for the purpose of the recruitment and retention of first responders: a tuition waiver program for attendance at the CT State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) system and a mortgage assistance program through the Connecticut Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA).
