This is a graph that compares Operating Results for the General Fund and All Governmental Funds. All Governmental Funds represent the total for all of Connecticut's governmental operations. In 1994 the General Fund ended the Fiscal Year with a 51 million-dollar surplus. In 1994 All Governmental Funds ended the Fiscal Year with a 365 million-dollar deficit. In 1995 the General Fund ended the Fiscal Year with a 242 million-dollar deficit. In 1995 All Governmental Funds ended the Fiscal Year with a 623 million-dollar deficit. In 1996 the General Fund ended the Fiscal Year with a 198 million-dollar surplus. In 1996 All Governmental Funds ended the Fiscal Year with a 191 million-dollar deficit. In 1997 the General Fund ended the Fiscal Year with a 252 million-dollar surplus. In 1997 All Governmental Funds ended the Fiscal Year with a 95 million-dollar deficit.
