Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant. 

CALL TO ORDER 

The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:05 am. 

Dr. Ohene-Adjei motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Galvin at 9:06 am.  Members of the Retirement Services Division and the General Counsel to the Commission were invited to stay during Executive Session.  Annette Sadlowski left the meeting at 10:00 am. and returned at 10:05 am.  There was a brief break at 11:36 am. until 11:44 am.  Colin Newman left the meeting at 12:40 pm. and returned at 12:45 pm.

1.  Joseph Treusch and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 11:47 am.  They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 11:49 am.
2.  Erin Alkazin appeared before the Board at 11:50 am.  She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 11:52 am.
3.  Annette Anderson appeared before the Board at 11:53 am.  She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 12:04 pm.
4.  Socorro Cortijo appeared before the Board at 12:08 pm.  She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 12:17 pm.
5.  Carol Gaylor and Attorney Robert Fitzgerald appeared before the Board at 12:29 pm.  They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 12:37 pm.
6.  Susan Thorpe, James Thorpe and Attorney Justin Raymond appeared before the Board at 12:40 pm.  Ms. Thorpe and Atty. Raymond made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 12:43 pm.

Dr. Ohene-Adjei motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Galvin at 12:49 pm.
