Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:09 am.
Dr. Rudich motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Blum at 9:10 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division and the General Counsel to the Commission were invited to stay during Executive Session. Colin Newman left meeting at 9:29 am and returned at 9:32 am. Colin Newman and Dr. Eric Shore left the meeting at 9:54 am. Colin Newman returned at 10:00am. Cindy Ceislak left the meeting at 10:11 am and returned at 10:15 am. Colin Newman left the meeting at 11:06 am and returned at 11:16 am. There was a brief break at 11:51 am. until 12:02 pm.
1. Paula Dicostanzo, David Dicostanzo
and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 12:03 pm.
They made statements, and then, they were excused by the Board at 12:10
pm.
2. Lianie Gorcenski (Unterzuber)
appeared before the Board at 12:12 pm. She made a statement and then
was excused by the Board at 12:27 pm.

Kellie Laporte appeared before the Board at 12:34 pm. She made a
statement and then was excused by the Board at 12:34 pm.

Marilyn Logan appeared before the Board at 12:35 pm. She made a
statement and then was excused by the Board at 12:39 pm.

Board at 12:41 pm. He made a statement and then was excused by the

Dr. Rudich motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Blum at 1:18 pm.

entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement. Motion approved
unanimously.

entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement. Motion approved

entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement, however, the Board would look

Dr. Rudich moved, seconded by Dr. Blum, to approve David Cummings'
entitlement to Non-Service Connected Retirement. Motion approved
unanimously.

Dr. Rudich moved, seconded by Dr. Blum, to deny Paula Dicostanzo's
entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement, however, the Board would look
favorably upon a Non-Service Connected Retirement. Motion approved
unanimously.

Dr. Rudich moved, seconded by Dr. Galvin, to approve Robert Druge's
entitlement to Non-Service Connected Retirement. Motion approved
unanimously.

Dr. Rudich moved, seconded by Dr. Galvin, to deny Raymond Gagne's
entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement, however, the Board would look
favorably upon a Non-Service Connected Retirement. Motion approved
unanimously.

Dr. Rudich moved, seconded by Dr. Blum, to deny James Gaines' entitlement
to Non-Service Connected Retirement. Motion approved unanimously.

Dr. Rudich moved, seconded by Dr. Blum, to stand by the Board's previous
decision to deny Lianie Gorcenski's (Unterzuber) entitlement to Non-Service
Connected Retirement. Motion approved unanimously.
