A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, March 24, 2017, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 55 Elm Street, Room 208, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.

CALL TO ORDER

The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:09 am.

Dr. Lieders motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Dargan at 9:10 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division and the General Counsel to the Commission were invited to stay during Executive Session.

1. Sandra Conyers appeared, and made a statement before the Board at 11:07 a.m. She was excused by the Board at 11:13 a.m.
2. Catherine Crandle, Jim Crandle and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 11:14 a.m. Attorney Zimberlin made a statement and, then he and the Crandles were excused
   by the Board at 11:16 a.m.
3. Jessica Marquez and her dad Ernest Marquez appeared before the Board at 11:21 a.m. She made a statement and then they were excused by the Board at 11:25 a.m.
4. Eva Nieves appeared and made a statement before the Board at 11:26 am. She was excused by the Board at 11:36 am.
5. Jesus Rodriquez and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared, and made statements before the Board at 11:40 a.m. They were excused by the Board at 11:45 a.m.
6. Michelle Suggs and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 11:46 a.m. Attorney Russell Zimberlin made a statement, and then he and Michelle Suggs were excused at 11:50 a.m.
7. Charles White appeared before the Board and made a statement at 11:51 a.m. He was excused at 12:00 p.m.
   

Dr. Pollack motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Lieders at 12:03 pm.
