A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, July 19, 2019, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 55 Elm Street, Room 208, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:06 am.
Dr. Rudich motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Blum at 9:07 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division and the General Counsel to the Commission were invited to stay during Executive Session. There was a brief break at 11:00 am. until 11:10 am.
Dr. Dargan left the meeting at 1:40 pm. and returned at 1:42 pm. Cindy Ceislak left the meeting at 1:41 pm. and returned at 1:43 pm.
1. Angela Adams appeared before the Board at 11:50 am. She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 11:53 am.
2. Marcia Doolan and Attorney Jeffrey Ment appeared before the Board at 11:55 am. They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 12:00 pm./p>
3. Collette Foote appeared before the Board at 12:05 pm. She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 12:20 pm.
4. Stephanie Gibson, Ashley Gibson and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 12:27 pm. Stephanie Gibson and Atty. Zimberlin made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 12:30 pm.
5. Lisa Jones, Vouise Fonville(supervisor), and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 12:33 pm. They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 12:53 pm.
6. Stacey Juan appeared before the Board at 12:55 pm. She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 1:01 pm./p>
7. Jacqueline Lawrence and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 1:03 pm. They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 1:12 pm.
8. Sherene Nelson appeared before the Board at 1:16 pm. She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 1:23 pm.
9. Joseph Palumbo, III, Jenell Aztel, and Attorney Russell Zimberlin appeared before the Board at 1:24 pm. They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 1:35 pm.

Dr. Blum motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Rudich at 2:12 pm.
