A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, April 26, 2019, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 55 Elm Street, Room 208, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.

CALL TO ORDER

The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:08 am.
Dr. Leiders motioned to amend agenda, to remove Richard Fogg, seconded by Dr. Rudich at 9:09 am.

Dr. Lieders motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Rudich at 9:09 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division, and the General Counsel to the Commission were invited to stay during Executive Session. There was a brief break at 11:21 am until 11:31 am.

Joseph Colella, Jr. and Attorney Jeffrey Ment appeared before the Board at 11:36 am. They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 11:38 am.
William Liquindoli and his wife, Ellen Liquindoli appeared before the Board at 11:39 am. He made a statement and then they were excused by the Board at 11:41 am.
Michael McGaughan and his wife, Susan McGaughan appeared before the Board at 11:42 am. He made a statement and then they were excused by the Board at 11:45 am.
William Reid, III appeared before the Board at 11:46 am. He made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 11:47 am.
Tamra Mongellow appeared before the Board at 11:48 am. She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 11:51 am.
Cynthia Roldan-Hernandez appeared before the Board at 11:52 am. She made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 12:00 pm.
Michelle Ruzza and Attorney Justin Raymond appeared before the Board at 12:01 pm. They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 12:03 pm.
William Sulkazi and Attorney William Conti appeared before the Board at 12:04 pm. They made statements and then they were excused by the Board at 12:07 pm.
John Toles appeared before the Board at 12:08 pm. He made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 12:12 pm.
Nathaniel Tyson appeared before the Board at 12:13 pm. He made a statement and then was excused by the Board at 12:24 pm.

Dr. Lieders motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Rudich at 12:36 pm.
