Subject: A Supplemental Understanding between the State and the NP-4 Corrections Bargaining Unit

I. AUTHORITY

A Supplemental Understanding agreement addressing Article 36, NP-4 Corrections Collective Bargaining Unit which was approved by the Legislature on June 8, 1999.

II. ARTICLE 36
EMPLOYEE UNIFORM, PERSONAL APPEARANCE AND IDENTIFICATION

Employees who incurred costs for the hemming of Department issued trousers prior to April 30, 1999 will, upon submission of receipt, be reimbursed. The employees will be reimbursed five dollars ($5.00) or less per pair of trousers.
 
Effective May 1, 1999, the Department will arrange for the hemming of issued trousers. If the Department does not accomplish the hemming of such trousers, the employee will, upon submission of a receipt, be reimbursed for the trouser hemming five dollars ($5.00) or less per pair of trousers.

III. REIMBURSEMENT

The employee must complete a CO-17XP-PR, Employee Reimbursement, form and attach the receipts for proof of payment to be reimbursed.

IV. PAYROLL PROCEDURES

The CO-17XP-PR form is then submitted to payroll for processing.
