The implementation of the Year 2000 enhancement bulletin for the GEAC (MSA) payroll system is March 20, 1999 (effective with check date April 9, 1999).

Effective March 22, 1999, to access the Year 2000 compliant production payroll system it will be necessary to type PRMM (instead of MSAS) on the sign in screen to access your level two's and begin payroll processing for the April 9, 1999 check date. If necessary, refer to your on-line test package for guidance on entering data in the fields that were expanded until you become more familiar with them.

All output files that agencies receive from OSC will be in the new Y2K format for check date April 9, 1999.

Please ensure that everyone in your agency payroll office (and your programmers if necessary) receive a copy of this memo.
