MEMORANDUM NO. 2000-36a

| Subject: | Performance Assessment and Recognition System (PARS) Payments |
The purpose of this memorandum is to rescind certain information contained in Memorandum No. 2000-36 dated July 7, 2000. In accordance with the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) memorandum dated September 19, 2000 issued by Alan Mazzola, Deputy Commissioner, the effective date of PARS payouts will be deferred for three months. The new effective date for increases and bonuses will be December 29, 2000 (check date January 26, 2001).
Payments in lieu of PARS to classified managerial employees not participating in PARS, which were to be effective September 22, 2000, have been rescinded according to a September 15, 2000 DAS memorandum.
