Subject: | Pay Increases for the Executive Branch Employees Excluded from Collective Bargaining |
I. AUTHORITY
In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes 4-40 and 5-208(a), the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) with the approval of the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, has authorized pay increases for executive branch employees excluded from collective bargaining assigned to the managerial pay plan.
II. INCREASE IN COMPENSATION FOR MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES AND OTHER EMPLOYEES ASSIGNED TO MANAGEMENT PAY PLANS
Effective July 14, 2000 there will be a three and a half percent (3.5%) general wage increase for managers and confidential employees excluded from bargaining effective with the pay period July 14, 2000 to July 27, 2000 (check date August 11, 2000).
This includes management employees assigned to the MP or MD pay plans, confidential employees assigned to management pay schedules or excluded from collective bargaining, Executive Assistants, Executive Office Administrative Aides, Gubernatorial appointees in special classes on the management pay schedule or whose pay rates are not prescribed elsewhere by statute, Durational Project Managers, Customer Service Program Developers, Leadership Apprentices, Division of Criminal Justice managers and confidentials on step schedules, the PUCA Chairperson, PUCA Vice Chairperson, PUCA Commissioners and Consumer Counsel, Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners. This does not include unclassified employees of any of the boards of trustees of the constituent units of higher education.
Employees designated as confidential exclusions who are in the job classification of Executive Secretary (Unclassified) are eligible for the three and a half percent (3.5%) increases.
