SUBJECT: | Clarification on Adjustments to Certain Compensation Items for the Administrative and Residual (P-5) Bargaining Unit Employees |
- PURPOSE
The purpose of this memorandum is provide additional information concerning the provisions for general wage increases, seventh step bonus increases and lump sum payment settlement.
- AUTHORITY
The Supplemental Understanding ratified between the State of Connecticut and the Administrative and Residual (P-5) bargaining unit on May 21, 1997.
- ELIGIBILITY FOR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE 1995-1999 P-5 CONTRACT
Provisions of the P-5 Supplemental Understanding do not apply to confidential employees.
In event of a decision to apply the understanding to confidential employees, a separate memorandum from the Department of Administrative Services and the Office of Policy and Management will be issued.
- 2% RETROACTIVE GENERAL WAGE INCREASE
The supplemental understanding clearly provides a general wage increase of 2% effective April 1, 1997. If the individual was an active employee on April 1, 1997, then the individual is eligible for the increase retroactively to April 1, 1997.
