| SUBJECT: | Addition to Maximum Per Diem Rates for Localities |
The federal per diem rates stated in Memorandum 97-6 have been amended to add per diem localities in the States of Louisiana and Virginia and to add the State of North Dakota. All locations within North Dakota are subject to a per diem rate of $30 for meals and incidental expenses. The additional per diem localities are listed in the attached Appendix. These changes were published in the March 20, 1997 Federal Register and are effective January 1, 1997. Any collective bargaining meals, per diem and incidental expenses exceeding the applicable rate are reportable.
