MEMORANDUM NO. 95 - 47
June 30, 1995
TO THE HEADS OF ALL STATE AGENCIES
Attention: | Chief Administrative and Fiscal Officer, Business Managers, and Payroll and Personnel Officers |
Subject: | Revised Workweek and Leave Accruals for Executives Assigned to the EX Compensation Schedule |
In accordance with a DAS/OLR Memorandum No. 95-67/OLR-21, there will be an increase in the normal workweek for the above-mentioned employees effective immediately.
Effective immediately above-mentioned employees are assigned to an official forty (40) hour workweek.
There will, however, be no further salary adjustment.
The increase of the work week to 40 hours reduces the Hourly Rate used to calculate Vacation and Sick Payouts at separation. The employee's salary should be divided by eighty (80) to derive the reduced Hourly Rate used for these payouts.
Both future accruals and time charged will reflect the eight (8) hour day. There is no change to current leave balances.
In addition, the maximum hours to be paid for at time of retirement or other qualified separation will also reflect the eight (8) hour day.
Sign on and change hours worked to eighty (80) hours bi-weekly, and enter the reduced Hourly Rate.
