_________________________________________________________________
This is to inform you and your affected staff that the implementation of the Dun & Bradstreet Payroll System at the State Data Center is scheduled for July 1, 1995. Those of you familiar with payroll processing requirements will be are aware that the optimum time to cutover to a new system is the first check date of a calendar year; the next best time is at the end of a quarter, therefore, will begin the weekend of June 16, with the new on-line system up the morning of June 19, for checks dated July 7, 1995.
Please be assured that prior to this implementation, an information packet will be sent to all payroll officers, with details about the new system, the on-line schedule for the first payroll cycle, instructions for those agencies using non-OSC terminals and printers, and sign-on instructions, including IDs and passwords. If there is any training required to make this transition, you will be apprised of that as well. In the meantime, if you have any questions, you may call Gary Reardon, Director of Central Payroll, at 566-4143.
We hope that this information has come to you early enough to allow its incorporation in your planning for the remainder of this fiscal year.
