STATE OF CONNECTICUT TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM

The biennial budget has included one hundred fifty thousand dollars
($150,000) for each fiscal year to the Tuition Reimbursement Fund for
managerial/confidential employees. Unused funds from one fiscal year will
be carried forward into the next fiscal year. The reimbursement will be on a
first come, first serve basis. Tuition reimbursement shall be equal to
seventy-five percent (75%) of the per credit rate for undergraduate and
graduate courses at the University of Connecticut, plus fees; however, such
reimbursement shall not exceed the actual cost of each course.
Managerial/Confidential employees shall be eligible for tuition
reimbursement up to a maximum of five thousand ($5000) dollars per fiscal
year. Uncommitted individual funds will not be carried forward to the next
fiscal year. The managerial employee must follow the same Tuition
Reimbursement Application Process as bargaining unit members to be
reimbursed.

Reimbursement Documents must include the employees name and the name of the Institution. Supporting documentation must come from the institution including the grade report and the student activity report.
These documents are necessary to ensure proper processing and accountability. Incomplete or missing information will result in delay of the reimbursement request.
