These funds are requested to finance costs associated with the development and implementation of information technology enhancements for various state agencies, as approved by the Information Technology Strategy and Investment Committee, including, but not limited to, the projects described below:
Judicial Department – Child Support Enforcement System - Replacing legacy system that has been in continuous operation since July 1987.
Department of Developmental Services – Home and Community Based Management System -Modernizing current application environment to create a new automated, integrated information system reflecting current department business workflow and processes.
Connecticut Technical Education and Career System – Nutrition and School Meals – Updating and enhancing the Food Service Program data collection and management systems to meet regulatory requirements, provide a greater level of detail and proactive monitoring of systems for program operations, and ensure multi-system integration.
Department of Energy and Environmental Protection – Electronic Permitting - Development of an electronic permitting platform to handle environmental applications, licensing, and registrations.
Department of Social Services – Shared Services Initiative – Completion of last phase of the shared service delivery model across the Health and Human Services continuum.
