Financials - The active employee and retiree accounts ended FY 2018 with a positive balance. For FY 2019, based on projected trend and dependent upon population changes on the retiree side, there may be a slight shortfall. It is very early in the fiscal year so staff will be monitoring the activity closely.

Partnership - There has been significant growth in the Partnership plan in 2018. Staff reported that as of August 1st, 2018, Partnership 1.0 has 6 remaining groups totaling 2,500 employees or 4,000 members. Partnership 2.0 has 96 groups totaling approximately 14,500 employees and over 33,000 members. There are 2 new groups joining the plan on 9/1/18 which will add approximately 2,000 new employees. In addition, there are 2 new groups joining for 10/1/18 which will add approximately 650 new employees.

DOT Pre-Diabetes Pilot - Staff reported that the program is going well. There are just under 100 members enrolled. It was reported that 12% of members enrolled have already met the first weight loss target of 5% of body weight through attending classes or working directly with CMSi. Staff is currently applying for a grant from the Connecticut Health Foundation to advance the program.
