| Subject: | Correction to Memorandum 2014-17, NP-5 dues/fees |
I. AUTHORITY
The purpose of this memorandum is to correct Memorandum 2014-17 dated August 18, 2014 and add job titles that were not included in the original memorandum. The corrected job titles are listed in bold below.
In accordance with the request of the Protective Services Employees Coalition, the following dues/fees increase was implemented effective with the pay period June 27, 2014 through July 10, 2014 (check date July 25, 2014).
For employees in the following job titles: Protective Services Trainee (Fire), Firefighter, Fire Lieutenant, University Fire Captain, Airport Crash Rescue Captain, Airport Crash Rescue Firefighter, Airport Crash Rescue Lieutenant, Fire Academy Trainer, Lead Fire Academy Trainer, Institution Assistant Chief and Institution Fire Chief, the dues and fees deduction will be as follows:

II. PAYROLL PROCEDURES
Agencies should verify that employees are in the correct dues/fees deduction for the highlighted job titles. Any necessary corrections should be made on the Create General Deduction page.
