Subject: | Dues/Fees Change, Protective Services (NP-5) Bargaining Unit |
I. AUTHORITY
In accordance with the request of the Protective Services Employees Coalition, the following dues/fees change will be implemented effective with the pay period April 22, 2011 through May 5, 2011 (check date May 20, 2011).
For employees in the following job titles: Buildings & Grounds Patrol Officer, Buildings & Grounds Patrol Officer (unclassified), Buildings & Grounds Supervising Patrol Officer, Buildings & Grounds Supervising Patrol Officer (unclassified), Conservation Enforcement Officer, Conservation Enforcement Sergeant, Detective, Liquor Control Supervising Agent, Liquor Control Special Agent, Motor Vehicle Agent Supervisor, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Motor Vehicle Sergeant, Motor Vehicle Operator License Agent, Police Captain, Police Master Sergeant, Police Officer, Police Sergeant, Protective Services Trainee (Conservation Enforcement), Protective Services Trainee (Inspection & Enforcement), Protective Services Trainee (Police), Special Enforcement Officer, State Animal Control Supervisor, State Animal Control Officer, Tax Enforcement Special Agent, Tax Unit Supervisor - Enforcement and Vehicle Weight & Safety Inspector, the existing union deduction (UDPROT/UFPROT or UDPRO2/UFPRO2) must end effective April 21, 2011; and the following new deduction code must be set up effective April 22, 2011. To accomplish this, follow these steps: To end the current deduction, enter effective date = to pay period begin date (4/22/2011) and end date equal to the same (4/22/2011). To add the new deduction, enter effective date = to pay period begin date (4/22/2011) and deduction calculation routine = to 'Default to Deduction Table'. Do not enter an amount, the deduction amount is already defined on another table.

For employees in the following job titles: Protective Services Trainee - fire, Firefighter, Fire Lieutenant, Fire Captain, Airport Crash Rescue Captain, Airport Crash Rescue Firefighter, Airport Crash Rescue Lieutenant, Fire Academy Trainer, Lead Fire Academy Trainer, Institution Assistant Chief and Institution Fire Chief, the dues and fees deduction will not be increased at this time and will remain as follows:
