TO THE HEADS OF ALL STATE AGENCIES

Attention:	Chief Administrative and Fiscal Officers, Business Managers, and Payroll and Personnel Officers
Subject:	Dues/Fees Change, Protective Services (NP-5) Bargaining Unit

I. AUTHORITY

In accordance with the request of the Protective Services Employees Coalition, the following dues/fees change will be implemented effective with the pay period December 19, 2008 through January 1, 2009 (check date January 16, 2009).
: For employees in the following job titles: Firefighter, Fire Lieutenant, Fire Captain, Airport Crash Rescue Captain, Airport Crash Rescue Firefighter, Airport Crash Rescue Lieutenant, Institution Assistant Chief and Institution Fire Chief, the dues and fees deduction will not be increased at this time and will remain as follows:

For employees in all other job titles, the dues and fees deduction will be increased as follows:

II. PAYROLL PROCEDURES

Core-CT will make the necessary changes for the check date referenced above.
