Subject: | 2006 Due Dates For Payroll Provisions Of Collective Bargaining Contracts |
This memorandum lists the 2006 due dates for payroll provisions of collective bargaining contracts. The information is arranged by collective bargaining unit. Please refer to the memoranda indicated with each collective bargaining unit for payroll procedures.
Longevity Payments
Longevity payments will be made in 2006 to all applicable collective
bargaining units. The check dates will be 4/28/06 and 10/27/06.
NP-1 State Police (See Interdepartmental Memorandum dated June 2,

All Collective Bargaining Units
Each collective bargaining contract should be reviewed to determine
eligibility for payments and any additional benefits that may not have been
included in this memorandum. For additional details regarding any payment
consult the applicable contract.
Collective Bargaining Agreements Expiring on June 30, 2006 Without a New Agreement
Section 5-278a of the Connecticut General Statutes is applicable in this situation. "In the event an agreement expires before a new agreement has been approved by the employee organization, the employer representative and the legislature, the provisions of the expired agreement concerning (1) salary, excluding annual increments, (2) differentials, (3) overtime, (4) longevity, and (5) allowances for uniforms, which were implemented pursuant to approval by the legislature in accordance with section 5-278 shall remain in effect until such time as a new agreement is reached and approved in accordance with section 5-278".
No new dollars for the 2006-2007 contract year will be allocated to the contracts expiring on June 30, 2006. The following types of funds are included:
