| Subject: | Mileage Reimbursement Executive Branch Exempt Employees |
I. PURPOSE
The purpose of this memorandum is to notify agencies of the extension of the benefit of the increase in the mileage reimbursement rate to include Managers, Confidentials and other non-represented employees.
II. AUTHORITY
In accordance with General Notice 2005-09A from the Office of Labor Relations.
III. MILEAGE RATE
The mileage reimbursement rate for all Executive Branch employees who are exempt from the classified service or not included in any bargaining unit contract is increased from 40.5 cents per mile to 48.5 cents per mile for travel on or after September 30, 2005 using personally owned vehicles for official State business.
Unclassified employees of the boards of trustees of the constituent units of higher education are notified by their respective boards.
