Subject: Fiscal Year End Meeting - April 26, 2004

I. PURPOSE

The purpose of this memorandum is to advise all State agencies that the Office of the State Comptroller will be holding a Fiscal Year End meeting on April 26, 2004 at Core-CT in conference rooms 1002A & B. There will be two sessions one at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and the second session from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

II. TOPICS TO BE COVERED DURING THE MEETING

It is anticipated that the Fiscal Year-End Instructions will be published on or about April 15, 2004, which is earlier than prior fiscal years due to the first closing within Core-CT. The meeting will cover the following topics related to the Fiscal Year-End Instructions:
Receipts Appropriations & Agency Budgets
Purchase Orders & Contracts Transfer Lists
Vendor Payments Corrections
Payrolls Statewide GAAP Closing

III. REGISTRATION SCHEDULING

Registration for the meeting will be handled by the Core-CT Agency Training Registration Coordinators. The sessions are named FYE101 and are listed as session 1 for the morning meeting and session 2 for the afternoon meeting. Space is limited so please send only two individuals from your agency.
