!! IMPORTANT NOTICE TO TIER I AND TIER II MEMBERS OF THE
STATE EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM (SERS)!!
If you are a full-time or part-time state employee who will have as of June 1, 2003 retirement credit in SERS for
(a) 10 or more years of actual state service and be at least 52 years of age
OR
(b) 20 or more years of qualifying hazardous duty service at any age
you may be eligible to participate in the 2003 Early Retirement Incentive Program.
The Retirement & Benefit Services Division has arranged to conduct a series of workshops to provide eligible members of SERS on a "first come first served" basis with information to formulate their retirement plans. If you are considering retirement by June 1, 2003, you should immediately contact your agency for workshop details.
Please note that the Retirement & Benefit Services Division cannot accommodate requests for individual counseling services at this time.
