RETIREMENT & BENEFIT SERVICES DIVISION MEMORANDUM
March 25, 2003
TO THE HEADS OF ALL STATE AGENCIES
ATTENTION: | All Personnel and Payroll Officers |
SUBJECT: | 2003 EARLY RETIREMENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS OF THE STATE EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON COUNSELING WORKSHOPS |
Retirement & Benefit Services Division (Division) Memorandum dated March 7, 2003 discusses the 2003 Early Retirement Incentive Program (ERIP) and, in that connection, announced a series of twelve Counseling Workshops to be conducted over a five week period, commencing on March 26, 2003 and concluding on April 23, 2003.
As anticipated, interest in these Counseling Workshops is high and, barring the unforeseeable, the Division anticipates that all twelve sessions will be fully-subscribed. What this means is that employees with reservations to attend a Counseling Workshop should factor the Division's attendance projections into their allotted travel time. As you advise your agency's employees of this, please also instruct them to have photo identification in their possession, as they will be required to display such to Veterans' Affairs Law Enforcement Officers stationed at the entrance to the campus in order to be allowed to proceed to the Auditorium.
Thank you for your continued cooperation in the administration of the 2003 ERIP.
Very truly yours,
STATE EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT COMMISSION
NANCY WYMAN, SECRETARY EX OFFICIO
