MEMORANDUM NO. 2003-41
September 25, 2003
TO THE HEADS OF ALL STATE AGENCIES
Attention: | Chief Administrative and Fiscal Officers and Business Managers |
Subject: | Change in the Method of Payment for Reportable and Non-Reportable Travel Reimbursements to Employees from Union Funds (9916) |
I. PURPOSE
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide agencies with information regarding a delay in reimbursement requests for travel from Union Travel and Training Funds (9916).
II. GENERAL INFORMATION
With the implementation of the HRMS module in Core-CT, the method of payment for Reportable and Non-Reportable travel reimbursement requests will be delayed. Effective October 16, 2003, all travel reimbursements from union funds will be delayed until January 2, 2004. New procedures for processing travel reimbursements will be sent at a later date.
This delay will provide us an opportunity to upgrade our current Travel and Tuition database using Core-CT account coding and the use of the new CO-17XP-PR form.
The current procedures for approving travel authorizations remain in effect.
III. GENERAL
Please direct all questions to the Office of the State Comptroller as follows:
