| Subject: | Correction to Memorandum No. 2003-35, Payroll Procedures for Laid-off Employees Returning to State Service |
I. SECTION III. VACATION TIME, IS REWRITTEN TO THE FOLLOWING:
Only certain 1199 employees have been allowed to purchase back the vacation time they received as a lump sum payment at the time of layoff. At this time, employees who are members of other bargaining units are not allowed to repurchase their vacation accruals that were paid out.
