MINUTES FOR MEETING HELD OCTOBER 24, 2011

The meeting began at approximately 1:05 p.m. A motion was made by Mr. Coffey, second by Mr. Casella to go into executive session to review the proposals received from counsel to provide pension/tax advice to the State Employees Retirement Commission and select firms to interview. Division Counsel was invited to stay. Unanimous decision.
Mr. Fortier left the meeting at approximately 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Coffey moved, seconded by Mr. Casella to come out of executive session at
approximately 4: 08 p.m. Unanimous decision. Mr. Casella made the
following motion: that Division Counsel contact the firms selected for interview
and schedule mutually convenient interview times. Mr. Carey seconded the motion.
Unanimous decision. Mr. Coffey made the following motion: that
Division Counsel follow up with the Office of the Attorney General on certain
RFP related provisions and items discussed by the subcommittee during executive
session. Mr. Carey seconded the motion. Unanimous decision
