Present: Subcommittee members Commission Chairman Peter Blum and Trustees Michael Carey, Charles Casella, Robert Coffey, Paul Fortier and Trustee Linda Yelmini, Attorney Nicole Dorman, Attorney Natalie Braswell, Retirement Division Director Brenda Halpin and Retirement Division Assistant Director Colin Newman
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Carey moved, seconded by Mr. Casella, to go into Executive Session to discuss recruitment of additional doctors for the Medical Examining Board, interpretation of the term "municipality" in the MERS statute, the ICE Miller PLR, IRC Sec. 415 issues and issuing an RFP for Commission Legal Counsel and to invite Trustee Linda Yelmini to attend with regard to all items above and invite Attorney Nicole Dorman to attend with regard to all items above, except issuing an RFP for Commission Legal Counsel, and to invite Attorney Natalie Braswell, Director Brenda Halpin and Assistant Director Colin Newman to attend with regard to the item concerning the recruitment of additional doctors for the Medical Examining Board. The motion was approved unanimously.
At 3:35 p.m. Mr. Casella moved, seconded by Mr. Carey, to come out of Executive Session. The motion was approved unanimously. No motions were made in the Public Session following the Executive Session.
At 3:45 p.m. Mr. Casella moved, seconded by Mr. Carey, to adjourn the
meeting. The motion was approved unanimously.
