Retirement Services Division August 14, 2014 Minutes of the Retirement Commission Legal & Personnel Subcommittee

Present: Chairman Peter Blum, Trustees Michael Carey, Charles Casella, and Robert Coffey.

The meeting came to order at 8:05 AM. The following items were on the agenda:

1. Contract for Legal Services. Following a report from Mr. Blum and discussion, Mr. Carey moved to recommend to the Retirement Commission approval of the proposed contract for legal services on IRS matters with Robinson and Cole, subject to the submission by Robinson and Cole of required affidavits. Mr. Casella seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.
: 2. Letter from Roger Stolen, UPSEU, Town of Thompson. Following discussion, no action was taken.
: 3. Inquiry from Town concerning MERS contributions. Following discussion, no action was taken.
: 4. Bouchard Matter. Following discussion, no action was taken.

At 9:58 a.m., there being no further business, Mr. Carey moved to adjourn. Mr. Casella seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.
