A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, November 7, 2014, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 55 Elm Street, Room 208, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:04 am.
Dr. Geetter motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical
condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by
Dr. Pollack at 9:05 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division were allowed
to remain.
Dr. Geetter motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr.
Pollack at 12:56 PM.
SUSAN ANDERSON D- 10113 SERVICE-CONNECTED
Dr. Pollack moved, seconded by Dr. Lieders, to approve Susan Anderson's
entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement. Motion approved unanimously.
THOMAS BURGESS D- 11654 NON-SERVICE CONNECTED
Dr. Pollack moved, seconded by Dr. Lieders, to approve Thomas Burgess'
entitlement to Non-Service Connected Retirement. Motion approved unanimously.
TERRANCE CALLINAN D- 11061 SERVICE-CONNECTED (RECONSIDERATION)
Dr. Pollack moved, seconded by Dr. Geetter, to approve Terrance Callinan's
entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement. Motion approved by majority
decision. Dr. Lieders abstains.

Dr. Lieders moved, seconded by Dr. Geetter, to approve Paul Cicarella's

Dr. Pollack moved, seconded by Dr. Lieders, to approve the entitlement of

unanimously.

Dr. Pollack moved, seconded by Dr. Lieders, to deny Ismael Feliciano 's
entitlement to Non-Service Connected Retirement. Motion approved unanimously.

Dr. Pollack moved, seconded by Dr. Lieders, to stand by the board's previous
decision to deny Sybil George's entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement.
Motion approved unanimously.
