A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Office of the State Comptroller, 55 Elm Street, Room 208, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.

CALL TO ORDER

The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:20 am.

Dr. Samson motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Buchanan at 9:21 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division were allowed to remain.

Dr. Samson motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Buchanan at 1:00 pm.

NYDIA ARROYO-PADILLA D- 11347 NON-SERVICE CONNECTED
Dr. Buchanan moved, seconded by Dr. Singer, to deny Nydia Arroyo-Padilla'S entitlement to Non-Service Connected Disability Retirement. Motion approved unanimously.

DARRYL CAMP D- 11164 SERVICE CONNECTED
Dr. Buchanan moved, seconded by Dr. Singer, to approve Darryl Camp'S entitlement to Service Connected Disability Retirement. Motion approved by majority. Dr. Samson dissents.

LUISA CARRERO D- 10959 NON-SERVICE CONNECTED (RECONSIDERATION)
Dr. Buchanan moved, seconded by Dr. Singer, to approve Luisa Carrero'S entitlement to Non-Service Connected Disability Retirement. Motion approved by unanimously.
