A Meeting of the Medical Examining Board was held on Friday, April 4, 2014, at the office of the State Comptroller, 55 Elm Street, Room 208, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.

PRESENT:

Please note that a portion of the meeting was conducted in executive session as the focus of the meeting was the medical condition(s) of each Disability Retirement applicant.

CALL TO ORDER

The Chairperson called meeting to order at 9:00 am.

Dr. Samson motioned to go into the Executive Session to discuss medical condition(s) related to the applications for Disability Retirement, seconded by Dr. Singer at 9:01 am. Members of the Retirement Services Division were allowed to remain.

Dr. Samson motioned to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Dr. Singer at 11:45 AM.

MARCUS BROWN D- 11299 SERVICE-CONNECTED (RECONSIDERATION)
Dr. Singer moved, seconded by Dr. Croteau, to stand by the Board's previous decision to deny Marcus Brown's entitlement to Service-ConnectedRetirement. Motion approved unanimously.

JOHN CROWDIS D- 11132 NON-SERVICE CONNECTED (POSTH.)
Dr. Singer moved, seconded by Dr. Croteau, to deny John Crowdis' entitlement to Non-Service Connected Retirement. Motion approved unanimously.

CHARLES DALY D- 11553 SERVICE-CONNECTED
Dr. Singer moved, seconded by Dr. Croteau, to approve Charles Daly's entitlement to Service-Connected Retirement. Motion approved unanimously.
