Dear Commissioner Sergi:

In accordance with the request of the State Vocational Federation of Teachers, the dues/fees deduction for full-time instructional personnel will be increased from $21.13 per pay period to $22.67 effective September 1, 2000. The change will be implemented effective with the pay period August 25, 2000 through September 7, 2000 (check date September 22, 2000).

The agency payroll staff must review the Employee Masterfile (Table Number and Sort Code) to ensure the dues/fees increase will be properly updated. The Table Number is 977 and the Sort Code is 00977. The Comptroller's Payroll Services Division will enter the revised deduction rate at the proper time.
