Dear Commissioner Sergi:
In accordance with the request of the State Vocational Federation of Teachers, the dues/fees deduction for full-time employees will be reduced to $20.78 per pay period effective September 1, 1998. The change will be implemented effective with the pay period August 14, 1998 through August 27, 1998 (check date September 11, 1998).
The agency payroll staff must review the Employee Masterfile (Table Number and Sort Code) to ensure the dues/fees deduction will be properly updated. The Table Number is 977 and the Sort Code is 00977. The Comptroller's Payroll Services Division will enter the revised deduction rate at the proper time.
