Subject: Dues/Fees Increase, State Vocational Federation of Teachers (SVFT)

The dues/fees deductions for full-time employees who are members of SVFT will be increased from $23.02 to $23.32 per pay period, effective September 1, 1997. The change will be made in pay period August 29 through September 11, 1997 (check date September 26, 1997).

The department's payroll staff should ensure that the subject employees are properly coded; i.e., correct bargaining unit and union codes, table number, and sort code. Enter Table No. 977 for full-time employees. The Comptroller's Payroll Services Division will automatically enter the revised rate into the MSA System at the proper time.
