TO THE HEADS OF ALL STATE AGENCIES
ATTENTION: | Chief Administrative and Fiscal Officers, Business Managers, and Payroll and Personnel Officers |
SUBJECT: | Deletion of Employees' Access to the Comptroller's Financial Systems |
To remind all agencies that if any of the now retired employees had a user identification code/password to access any of the Comptroller's Financial Systems (Central Accounting System, Payroll System, and Retirement Data Base System), the necessary paperwork must be submitted immediately to have those user identification codes/passwords deleted and new ones established if necessary. Each agency has the responsibility of requesting deletion of an employee's user identification code/password immediately upon notice of his/her termination or transfer to another agency. When an employee has a change in responsibility within an agency, access should be changed via the submission of Form CO-1057.
Comptroller's Memorandum No. 95-66, "Comptroller's Financial Systems Security," Section II, Control Activities.
The request to delete a user should be made in the following manner. Agency management makes a request to the designated agency liaison to delete the user. The liaison sends a memo addressed to:
